Uses: One of the more under-appreciated oils in aromatherapy, Carrot Seed is remarkably versatile, possessing powerful yet gentle abilities which act primarily on the kidneys, liver, pancreas, and skin. In fact, it is just as effective whether absorbed through the skin or used internally.

An excellent diuretic and hepatic aid; possesses detoxifying and purifying abilities. Of great benefit with jaundice and hepatitis, with greatest impact after (rather than during) illness due to its ability to support regeneration. Aids kidney detoxification; eases fluid retention. Encourages elimination of accumulated toxins in muscles and joints; of benefit with rheumatism, arthritis, gout. Digestive tonic and cleanser; stimulates metabolism.

Wonderful for skin due to its toning and revitalizing abilities; particularly beneficial to mature skin. Helps rid skin of toxin buildup and edema; especially helpful with dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, rashes. Improves skin tone and elasticity; may be helpful with scar reduction; possible regenerative effect following severe burns.
